I think they’re Satan (Say10) and a Godly/Christ-like figure? I took it as a commentary on religious ideology and the idea that temptation and “holiness” are always watching, waiting, and judging – depicted via the spirits in the wall behind the girls bed (which gave me serious Stranger Things vibes)? These idealized figures engage in sinful acts, so I understood it to be exploring the hypocrisy of religion by presenting both “sides” of the argument. And that one is no better than the other…
