“Waiting for the Barbarians” Mexican screening update:
The movie is set to have its sixth premiere in a festival, held at the
17th Morelia International Film Festival,
next October 25, at the “Cinépolis Morelia Centro” in
Tickets for the screening can be bought HERE. This time, Ciro Guerra
will attend the festival along the award-winning writer, and responsible for
adapting his work to a script for the movie, J. M. Coetzee.

and based on the novel of the same name by J. M. Coetzee, will have its SIXTH premiere and the FIRST outside Europe. “Waiting for the Barbarians” will have
its first Latin America screening at the 17th Morelia International Film
Festival, which is set to happen from October 18 to October 27, in Morelia, Mexico!
The official schedule with date and hour will be published on a date closer to
the festival, but was already announced that Ciro Guerra will attend the festival along the award-winning writer, and responsible for adapting his work to a
script for the movie, J. M. Coetzee!
Wouldn’t be amazing to see Johnny and all the cast attending the festival with the writer and the director!?
The fifth screening of the upcoming movie “Waiting for the Barbarians” will happen in three days
63rd BFI London Film Festival , next October 6 and this and its following sessions on October 7 and 9, are officially sold out! Unfortunately, Johnny is not confirmed for the festival which will have an debate and attending of the director Ciro Guerra, the producers Michael Fitzgerald, Andrea Iervolino and Monika Bacardi, and the actors Mark Rylance and Gana Bayarsaikhan.
